Description
The Ritter Merino Wool Sock was highly requested by our ski and snowboard athletes. When polling the team about their needs, we got the same answer: lightweight and no padding. We dove deeper to discover a denser knit was paramount to keep the sock's shape and keep it in place.
To accomplish our goal, the sock had to be run on a 200 needle machine to get industry's tightest knit. The final result is a straightforward design that fits perfectly in a tight ski or snowboard boot and delivers the performance needed for full days in the mountains. As a finishing touch, we knit our favorite local ridge line from Mt. Ritter through the Minaret range in Mammoth Lakes on the upper part of the sock.
